Milestone Ministry
At Gethsemane Lutheran, we celebrate many milestones throughout each child's faith journey. According to Vibrant Faith Milestone Ministries, "a faith milestone is a marker along life's journey that says, 'This is something important and God is here too.' Marking a milestone is a Biblically-based, spiritual practice in both home and congregation, which helps all generations recognize God's presence in all of life."

In addition, each Sunday School class attends faith formation classes with parents/guardians each year, which focus on a variety of faith building activities. the classes focus on many topics, ranging from forgiveness to The Lord's Prayer. Many of the classes have a church aspect, where the class will lead the congregation through one part of the worship service. We often use Child in Our Hands curriculum..
