Staff
Pastor Paul Backstrom, is our Pastor. His responsibilities are to preach the Word, administer the sacraments, conduct public worship, provide pastoral care, and speak publicly to the world in solidarity with the poor and oppressed, calling for justice and proclaiming God’s love for the world. The nuts and bolts of what he does each week is preach, lead worship, attend committee meetings, lead Bible studies, pray with the sick, bring Holy Communion to the homebound, teach confirmation, and listen.

Sarah Beck, is our Office Manager. She is the one that you hear at the other end of the phone and see behind the desk. Sarah can usually be found at the church from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday. She will be happy to help you or forward you to the appropriate person as needed.

Terry Zillmann is our janitor. Terry has the primary responsibility for keeping our building in good shape.
Cornie Zevenbergen is our fix it guy. Cornie has the fun job of figuring out how to fix all the things that the pastor breaks.
Beth Heutmaker is our Bell Choir director. She works with hand bell choir members on ringing performance and techniques and selects appropriate music for each season of the church.
Rick Stone leads the Livingstones which is our contemporary band. They provide music once a month.
Faye Bergin and Jack Pollitt are our organists. They selects hymns and provide accompaniment for congregational singing during worship and special services.
