Like most churches, Gethsemane has held onto all of our records since our inception. We have dutifully maintained these records, which include Baptisms, Confirmation, Marriages and Funerals. Church records provide first person records of our personal social events and are sought after by genealogists for this reason, Here we offer our church records for use not just by our members, but also for those looking for forebears who were once a part of our church family.
We have four sets of books: 1874-1903 when we were Baldwin Norwegian Lutheran; from 1904-1959, when we were Baldwin Lutheran; 1960-1999 as Gethsemane and a current set dating back to 2000. The first three sets have been properly microfilmed and archived.
Any record of a person still alive has been altered to protect their sensitive information.
